Warranty Policy

This article describes the warranty policy for Wooting Keyboards and accessories, as well as how to start a warranty claim.

Warranty Support Ethos

Wooting stands behind their products for the full duration of the warranty period.

We aim to build quality products that withstand the test of time and consciously avoid generating E-waste.

Our process to resolve warranty concerns typically involves sending replacement parts, not by returning items for a refund or complete unit replacement. The exception to this is if a customer initiates a warranty request within 30 days of receiving the product, for example if a defective product is received.


What Does Warranty Cover?

The product warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials during normal use.

Any product damage, cosmetic or functional, that occurred during shipping.

Fulfillment errors or mistakes made by Wooting.

What Does Warranty NOT cover?

Accidents, spills, cat puke, or user mistakes made during modding.

Minor imperfections as a result of variation within given tolerances.

Damage to packaging during shipment, provided that the product itself is pristine.


Initiating a Warranty Request

Have an issue with a Wooting product? Reach out via the Wooting Hub or via email at social@wooting.io to get into contact with our customer service team.

Our team is required to collect the relevant information related to the order including:

  • Order Number (or proof of purchase)
  • Serial Number
  • Customer Information
  • Warranty Status
  • Picture or Video of the Defect/Problem

Determining Warranty Status (Eligibility)

Warranty eligibility is defined by the fulfillment date on an order, with a grace period of an extra 14 to 30 days to account for shipping time.

Disassembling a keyboard does not void warranty, provided that it is done with care and respect.

A valid proof of purchase or Wooting store order number is required to determine warranty eligibility.


  • All products have a minimum of 2 year warranty.
  • The Wooting 60HE has a 4 year warranty.
  • The Wooting 60HE Module has a 4 year warranty.
  • The Wooting UwU has a 4 year warranty.
  • LEDs have a 2 year warranty.

Outside of Warranty?

We support our products beyond the stated warranty period to the best of our ability.

Should you experience an issue that is either not covered by warranty or is beyond the given warranty period, reach out to our customer service team for assistance!

In almost all cases, we can provide replacement parts at a significantly discounted price, relative to a new unit purchase.

In some cases, such as for example Flaretech switches, we are no longer able to get them manufactured and have to reserve the last few remaining switches for emergency situations.
