Wooting one doesn't load driver (yellow triangle in device manager)

Check our guide for this issue  here.

The Wootility freezes during an update.

  • Try using a different USB port. There are some reported issues with USB 3.0 ports.
  • Close down any other background software that might influence the keyboard (i.e. Driver/Software from other peripherals.)
  • If you have Razer products - Unplug and close down its software.

My keyboard doesn’t work and all the RGB lights are off.

Your keyboard has probably lost its firmware. This might be caused by USB power issues or a failed update. You can use the  restore guide to install the firmware again.

I’m having issues if my Xbox controller and Wooting one keyboard are connected.

There are currently two known solutions that might help:

  • Disconnect both and connect the device that you want to use first.
  • If you don’t want to use the Wooting one, disable it in the device manager.

My Wootility keeps crashing.

  • Make sure you have the latest version installed from our Wootility page.
  • Try using a different USB port. There are some reported issues with USB 3.0 ports.
  • Close down any other background software that might influence the keyboard.

Some keys or LED’s don’t work on my keyboard.

First check if your ANSI or ISO keyboard has an identity crisis. See picture below to identify if your keyboard is an ISO or ANSI. Then see if the same layout is displayed in the Wootility.  If they don’t match, do a restore to get it back to normal.

Analog control doesn’t work in [x] game

  • Make sure the driver for the analog control has loaded.
  • See if your analog works as expected in this tester.
  • See if your game is listed in our game compatibility list.
  • We have some guides for games here. If your game is not listed in there, you might still get some ideas about how to get it work from the different guides. Found a solution? Add it to our game support list here.

The RGB lights stay on when I turn off my computer

Make sure to update your keyboard to the latest firmware, v1.9 or higher.

Go to your general settings by clicking the gear icon in left down corner. In the new window it should show your firmware version.

If your Wootility doesn’t automatically update your firmware with a notification or prompt. Please make sure to download the latest Wootility.

I've done all the steps and nothing seems to work!

Sometimes the rare bug or issue is best solved by simply using another computer with Wootility installed. If you encounter these unsolvable bugs, please let us know on discord, shoot us an email, or fill out a bug report.
